Which company is providing the New Phone and Cash Plan?
|
The New Phone and Cash Plan (the "Plan") is offered under 3Money, a co-brand of 3HK and WeLend Limited. The handset instalment and cash loan services under the Plan are provided by WeLend Limited.

Are the fees and interest incurred the same for both the handset instalment and cash loan portion of the Plan?
|
We do not charge any interest, but will collect a monthly administrative fee every month based on the instalment amount. This administrative fee will be the same for both the handset instalment and cash loan portion of the Plan.

What are the fees incurred for this Plan?
|
We will typically collect a 0.8% monthly administrative fee, which may vary subject to the final approval decision. Please refer to the website for further details.

What is the maximum amount and tenor?
|
Depending on the handset and subscription plan, the maximum instalment plan amount can be up to $50,000 with tenors up to 60 instalments. Minimum instalment amount is HK$3,000. The option of 60-month instalment period is only applicable to an instalment amount of HK$10,000 or above. The final result is also subject to the customer's credit record.

What documents do I need to provide for my application?
|
Normally we only require a selfie, and photos of your HKID and ATM card*. In certain conditions, we may also require additional documents, such as your income proof. Please follow the instructions on the application form accordingly.
*You may provide their disbursement account details first to complete their application, and submit a photo of their ATM card later within the next 7 days. |
When will I know if I am successful in my application?

Subject to approval conditions, you will receive your approval result as soon as you complete the online application. Certain conditions are also subject to the completeness of documents submitted.

Why do I need to provide my bank account details if I am only applying for the handset instalment portion of the Plan?

|
You can select this plan for the handset value with a subscription to a SIM plan.

Can I purchase two handset ?
|
Every customer is limited to one application for one handset subscription plan.

Who is eligible for this Plan?
|
This Plan is eligible for Hong Kong permanent residents who are employed, over 18 years of age, and have a good credit record.

What products are eligible for this Plan?
|
This Plan can be used for any handset subscription plan or contract renewal.

If I don't have an ATM card, are there any alternative documents that I can provide (e.g. bank statements)?
|
You may provide bank passports or bank statements, as long as your full name and bank account details are displayed clearly. Please note that joint accounts are not accepted.

I only want to repay my handset subscription plan in instalments, why does my approved instalment exceed that of my handset subscription plan?
|
We approve a maximum instalment amount for your application in advance, where you can then choose to use a portion of the approved amount to purchase your desired products, with the option of withdrawing additional cash for other uses.

How do I make my repayments?
|
WeLend will set up monthly Direct Debit from your designated bank account.
|
What happens if my repayment is overdue?
|
We will not charge any interest on your overdue payment, but will collect a $350 administrative fee for any late repayments.

Once I have signed my loan agreement, when do I make my first repayment? Do you have any examples?
|
Your loan becomes legally binding as soon as you sign your loan agreement. The first repayment date will be one month after the date with which you signed the agreement - for example, if you signed your loan agreement on September 15, the first repayment date will be October 15.

Other than monthly administrative fees, are there any other fees incurred from using other services?
Do I need to set up Autopay, or can I make my payments at one of your stores? |
This Plan does not limit your payment options when paying for other services that you have selected, such as (but not limited to) IDD, international roaming etc. You may make your payments by setting up Autopay, or visiting at one of our stores.
