Chicken and Egg Bowl
Yuxiu (玉 ひ で) is a century-old oyakodon restaurant that has been passed down for 8 generations. It is located on the 7th floor of Skytree with only a few seats. The restaurant uses high-quality Tokyo Shamo, a type of chicken that was originally bred for cockfighting, and you get three different cuts: breast, thigh, and wing. The creamy half-cooked egg combined with the tender meat and perfectly cooked rice will produce a delicious sensation as you chew, and you will empty the bowl before you know it.

The restaurant often has a long queue outside. The prices for their lunch menu range from 1,100 to 1,600 yen, and you can have a set meal for just 1,300 yen (about HK$90). Their most popular choice is the tenderloin cutlet with four quality grades: Prime, Choice, Select, Standard. Their pork cutlet is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.
