How are the service's validity period and service charge calculated?
The service's validity period begins from the first use of Roam-In-Command (6GB)/(10GB). Calculation of the service charges are based on the country/region where you start using travel data. The Service Fee covers a usage period of 15 days/ 30 days ("Usage Period"), any usage of less than 15 days/ 30 days will still be charged as the full 15 days/ 30 days . The Usage Period commences upon the first day of use until 23:59 (Hong Kong time) on that day, and will expire at 23:59 (Hong Kong time) on the 15th day/ 30th day at 23:59 (Hong Kong time). After this period, the service fee will reset for another 15-day/ 30-day validity.

How will the charges of the Roam-In-Command (6GB)/(10GB) be charged if the journey spans multiple regions?
The Service charge will be charged according to the activation of first travel data usage. The service is available until 23:59 Hong Kong time on the 15th day/ 30th day. No extra Service Fee will be charged if you travel to the designated destinations during the 15-day/ 30-day validity period of the 15-day/ 30-day pass.

For example:
The first travel data usage occurs in Japan, and you then travel to the United Kingdom after 3 days. The Service Fee is $128 for the 15-day/ 30-day period. When your travel data usage reaches 6GB/10GB, the data speed will be adjusted to not higher than 128kbps, customers may continue to use the data roaming service until expiry of the Usage Period.

If 6GB travel data is not enough?
You may consider purchasing additional travel data. 3HK offers extra travel data, the relevant charges are: $40/ 1GB; $98/ 3GB; $128/ 6GB.

Do I have to start using the travel data immediately after I have successfully subscribed to the service?
No, but you are recommended to start using travel data within 30 days after successful subscription. Otherwise, the service will be cancelled on the 30th day after successful subscription.

Can I subscribe to more than one "Roam-In-Command" service at the same time?
Subscribers of "Roam-In-Command (1GB)" can subscribe "Roam-In-Command (6GB)/ (10GB)" for one-off use. "Roam-In-Command (6GB)" and "Roam-In-Command (10GB)" are mutually exclusive.
When customers subscribe to both "Roam-In-Command (1GB)" and "Roam-In-Command (6GB) / (10GB)", the data usage will be deducted from "Roam-In-Command (6GB) / (10GB)" first. For the Roaming data usage deduction order, please refer to here.

Will I receive important reminders for this service?
To ensure your journey is worry-free, 3HK will send the following SMS reminders:

A confirmation message upon activating Roam-In-Command (6GB)/(10GB) activation
An activation message with the validity period starting when you first use the travel data
There will be data usage alert SMS when you are using the service (if applicable)
A reminder message before the expiration of the 30 days validity period

Can I share my data with other devices?
With Roam-In-Command (6GB)/(10GB), you can easily share data by tethering with other mobile phones and tablets without the need to queue, rent or return portable mobile routers, or carry additional devices.

Does Roam-In-Command (6GB)/(10GB) support 5G?
5G service is available to 3HK 5G customers, provided there is 3HK-supported 5G network coverage at the destination.

How do I activate service?

How to count the valid period and service charge of the 7-Day Pass?
Day count starts upon first use of travel data and consider as first day. Service is available until 23:59 Hong Kong time on 7^th day. Service charge depends on first use of travel data at the designated destinations. Another service charge will be charged automatically when travel data usage has occurred after valid period and according to the destination for the travel data usage. For example:

How to count the service fee if I am travelling across destinations during the valid period of the 7-Day Pass?
Service charge will be charged according to the destination for the first travel data usage. Service is available until 23:59 Hong Kong time on 7^th day. No extra service fee will be charged if you travel to other designated destinations during the valid period of the 7-Day Pass.

For example:
The first travel data usage occurs in Japan and travel to Europe on 4^th day. Service charge is $98 for 7 days. Service charge $148 will be charged when travel data usage has occurred in Europe after valid period.

Is there any warm reminder for this service?
Different types of SMS reminder will be sent to you, for :

Confirmation upon service activation
The valid period when start using travel data
Before the expiry of 7 days validity

Can I share my data by tethering?
Yes! No more hassle of picking up and returning the rental Wi-Fi modem, or adding extra weight to your luggage. Simply share data by tethering with your other mobile devices.

Is 4G LTE supported by Roam-in-Command?
4G LTE service is available to 3HK 4G LTE customers using compatible 4G devices while there are 3HK supported 4G network in the destination.
