Is it possible to relocate the service address?
+
Yes. Starting 30 days before the scheduled service move date, you can call our customer service hotline to handle your relocation service. We will charge a service relocation fee (whichever is most recent).
Does the broadband equipment belong to me?
+
The broadband equipment does not belong to customer. If you terminate the service, you must return the complete set of equipment at our shops within 30 days of the termination of service.
Is there a cooling-off period?
+
There is a 14-day cooling-off period starting from the day following the registration of the designated home broadband service plan. Subscribers can cancel the registered service plan(s) within the cooling-off period, and we will not charge any fees. Prepayment will also be refunded. However, the cooling-off period will immediately cease to apply if (i) Subscriber has collected any premium; or (ii) completion of installation.
How to choose the "Service Commencement Date"?
+
Customers can select the " Service Commencement Date " for Home Broadband Service, and the service will start from the " Service Commencement Date ", but this date must be within 365 days of the service installation date. Customers must determine the " Service Commencement Date " before service installation. Once confirmed, the service contract will come into effect from this date. The customer understands that the relevant service will not be available from the completion of installation to the " Service Commencement Date ".
How to check whether the "pop-up blocker" is enabled in my browser?
+
You can do this by selecting "Tools" at the top of the IE browser, pointing to "Pop-up Blocker (P)", and then selecting "Pop-up Blocker Settings (P)". If you see "Currently Blocked Popups," it means that you have the Popup Blocker enabled and are blocking popup windows on websites.
Why is the Internet speed slow?
+
There are many reasons for slow internet speed, such as:
- Insufficient computer hard disk storage space and CPU speed may lead to CPU overload, resulting in slower Internet access;
- Launch multiple programs at the same time;
- There may be multiple users connecting to the same server to download the same data at the same time, which may cause this website to be unable to respond to a large number of download requests in a timely manner and affect the Internet speed;
- If you use a USB port to connect to our broadband network, due to the resource sharing of the USB port (for example, the USB port is connected to a printer at the same time), the network speed will be reduced; therefore, we recommend you to use an Ethernet card to connect to the broadband network;
- If you use wireless routers, broadband sharers and other devices to connect multiple devices to the Internet at the same time, the Internet access speed will be affected accordingly.
If the problem persists, or you are not using any router, please switch to a different browser (such as Edge/Firefox/Chrome/IE, etc.) and a different device (such as other computers/mobile phones/tablets, etc.) to test.
