Programme highlights
- Promoting self-directed language learning and enriching the language learning environment in schools. For example, procuring language learning resources, hiring instructors or supporting staff or purchase services
- Enhancing students' English and Putonghua learning experiences
- Offering two one-off grants, namely the "One-off Grant for Promotion of Self-directed Language Learning (English Language)" and the "One-off Grant for Promotion of Self-directed Language Learning (Putonghua)", with an amount of HK$200,000 each
Application details
- Application is not required. The two one-off grants, with an amount of $200,000 each, will be disbursed to each aided school (including special schools), caput school and DSS school in December 2024, and depoly the two grants until the end of the 2026/27 school year
