Hong Kong, 8 March 2024 - Hutchison Telecommunications (Hong Kong) Limited (HTHK)
announces its pioneering* activation of the 3.5GHz band, also known as the 5G "Golden
Spectrum," in the three Road Harbour Crossings: Cross-Harbour Tunnel, Eastern Harbour
Crossing, and Western Harbour Crossing. This advancement provides services with enhanced
network capacity and bandwidth. Additionally, the 5G "Golden Spectrum" coverage has been
extended to AsiaWorld-Expo and Hong Kong International Airport, ensuring a seamless user
experience for concert audiences and inbound and outbound travellers.

Pioneering uninterrupted coverage of three Road Harbour Crossings
HTHK becomes the first operator* to offer uninterrupted connectivity covering all three Road Harbour Crossings. The "Golden Spectrum" features enable HTHK to provide customers with 5G services featuring enhanced bandwidth and capacity in these three high-traffic areas. Even during peak congestion, users can enjoy uninterrupted 8K video streaming.
Seamless connectivity of "Golden Spectrum" at AsiaWorld-Expo and Hong Kong International Airport
Furthermore, HTHK has extended its 5G "Golden Spectrum" to AsiaWorld-Expo and Hong Kong International Airport. This means that customers attending concerts or exhibitions at AsiaWorld-Expo or travelling through the airport can enjoy HD video calls with loved ones and easily check-in on social media platforms.
HTHK's 5G "Golden Spectrum" now covers the departure hall, arrival hall, luggage claim, and restricted zone of Hong Kong International Airport.
