3Education partnered with Kowloon True Light School through the Business-School Partnership Programme this year and had around over thirty students visiting DIGIBOX and taking part in a ChatGPT art workshop.

During the workshop, the students had the opportunity to delve into the fundamental concepts of ChatGPT and digital drawing. Through interactive and entertaining activities, the workshop fostered an engaging learning environment, igniting a keen interest in 5G, Web 3.0 and AI among our talented youth.

3Business participated the Retail Innovation Summit 2024, an annual event organized by the Hong Kong Retail Technology Industry Association for the retail, food and beverage, and technology sectors has been hosted on 25 Jan. Numerous 5G smart solutions tailored to help retailers such as Data Monetization, Smart Camera Analytics, 5G 4K/8K Live Streaming Solution and the Point of Sales System, were showcased. 3Business team demonstrated the solutions and their application in different scenarios on-site so industry participants could better understand the benefits brought by digital transformation, such as uplifting operational efficiency and customer experience, and ultimately empowering the retail industry to explore new ways for business development in the post-epidemic era.

3Education successfully hosted a Smart City Solutions Experience Day at 3Business' 5G solution hub — DIGIBox and welcomed representatives from the Education Bureau, and nearly 100 teachers from 30+ education institutions in Hong Kong on January 12. Jess Mak, Senior Vice President of Enterprise Market, and the dedicated 3Education team, demonstrated various cutting-edge 5G solutions to leaders from the education sector, including private networks for schools, AR virtual walls, drone solutions, and more. Through showcasing successful stories, 3Education shared how its 5G solutions empowered the creation of immersive learning environments and ultimately fuelling the development of smart campuses.

The grand opening ceremony was officiated by Kenny Koo, Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer, Marcus Ng, Chief Financial Officer, Damien Leong, Chief Technology Officer, Jess Mak, Senior Vice President of Enterprise Market, and Patrick Lam, Vice President of Innovation Business and Growth. Guests were treated to guided tours of DIGIBox, enjoying a glimpse into the revolutionary 5G solutions and how 3Business pioneers the empowerment of enterprise digital transformation.

Hutchison Telecommunications (Hong Kong) Limited (HTHK) Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer, Kenny Koo, attended the Hong Kong Economic Summit 2024 organized by Metro Finance on December 4. Mr Koo shared unique insights on how 5G is accelerating Hong Kong's transformation into a smart city and highlighted the company's solutions. Officiating guests of the summit included John Lee, Chief Executive of Hong Kong, Eddie Yue, Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Monetary Authority, and other distinguished guests from the political and business communities.

3Business and Vodafone Business jointly organised a luncheon themed “AI and Telecoms Business Solutions: Effectiveness, Sustainability, Security and Opportunities” on November 30. Senior Vice President of Enterprise Market of HTHK, Jess Mak, announced that 3Business has extended SUPREME, a premium brand of HTHK launched earlier this year, to cover esteemed business partners and VIPs of the enterprise market with the debut of a new membership of SUPREME Executive. Jess's sharing session was followed by more discussion sessions on 5G-powered capabilities, AI and telecoms business solutions hosted respectively by Damien Leong, Chief Technology Officer of HTHK, Mabel Ko, Country Manager of Hong Kong of Vodafone Business, and Felix Cheng, Head of System Engineering of Palo Alto Networks - the business partner of 3Business's newly launched cybersecurity solutions.

3Business is collaborating with HKBN Enterprise Solutions (HKBNES) and Palo Alto Networks, to launch the managed network security solution, offering corporate customers high-level and comprehensive network protection. The solution leverages HTHK's advanced 5G mobile network, HKBNES's top-of-the-line ICT capabilities and Palo Alto Networks Prisma Access cybersecurity solution to support enterprises in reinforcing their network security and mitigating the risks of cyber-attacks, data breaches, and other security threats.
